A Dream Comes True for Kelly Maranchuck in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — On November 6, 2023, Senior Curriculum Coordinator and Instructional Coach Kelly Maranchuck got the surprise of a lifetime: Washington D.C.'s Milken Educator Award and a $25,000 cash prize. Mike Milken, president and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, was joined by State Superintendent of Education Dr. Christina Grant to welcome Kelly to the Milken Educator Network. "I fell in love with seeing how kids don't just grow in academics, but grow as little people," Kelly said. "It's why I'm still here today. It's all about the kids."
