CODY, WY—Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder is here at Cody High School to discuss Governor Mike Gordon's Reimagining and Innovating the Delivery of Education (RIDE) initiative. But there's another big reason for her visit, and it involves a surprise for one outstanding educator! Degenfelder introduces special guest Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who surprises CHS Principal Nathan Tedjeske with a 2023-24 Milken Educator Award and $25,000. It's tough to surprise the principal, but see for yourself—mission accomplished!
