Arkansas Teacher Erin Hodges Wins $25,000 Milken Educator Award

Language Arts teacher Erin Hodges: “When I get up in the mornings I don’t feel like it’s a job because I love what I do.” The Milken Family Foundation and the Arkansas Department of Education love what Erin does, too! That’s why National Institute for Excellence in Teaching President and CEO Dr. Gary Stark and Commissioner of Education Dr. Tom W. Kimbrell came to Douglas MacArthur Junior High to surprise her with the 2013–14 Milken Educator Award and a $25,000 check.
