LeeAnna Rabine of Sioux Falls Is 2014–15 Milken Educator for SD

It was an ordinary all-school assembly at Hawthorne Elementary School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, until Milken Family Foundation’s Dr. Jane Foley—with the help of State Secretary of Education Dr. Melody Schopp—flipped the script. To everyone’s surprise, the real purpose of the assembly was to honor kindergarten teacher LeeAnna Rabine with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award, the only one presented in South Dakota for the 2014–15 school year.
