Unforgettable Surprises for Two Indiana Educators

This Milken Educator Awards season, the Hoosier State added two incredible school leaders to the family: seventh grade reading and English language arts teacher Katie Lanter at South Ripley Junior High School on December 12, 2024 and ninth through twelfth grade business teacher Ashley Johnson at DeKalb High School on December 13, 2024. We surprised the two top educators with Milken Educator Awards and $25,000 cash prizes in front of students, colleagues, veteran Milken Educators, and visiting dignitaries.
