WASHINGTON, IL—What’s happening at Lincoln Grade School this morning? Everyone’s buzzing about an all-school assembly with Illinois State Superintendent of Education Dr. Tony Sanders. The reason for his visit becomes clear when Milken Educator Awards Vice President Jennifer Fuller surprises first grade teacher Jessica Wentz with the sole 2024-25 Illinois Milken Educator Award and $25,000. It’s a day Wentz and Lincoln Grade School will remember forever!
