School Named for Dr. Beverly Mathis (NV '00) Opens in Las Vegas

A new elementary school named for Milken Educator Dr. Beverly Mathis (NV '00) will be opening this month in Las Vegas. Dr. Beverly S. Mathis Elementary School is one of six new schools in the Clark County School District, part of an effort to ease overcrowding in southern Nevada. Dr. Mathis retired from the Clark County School District in 2011, after 35 years of service.
