There's a big assembly today at Center City Public Charter Schools' Brightwood Campus: Washington D.C. State Superintendent of Education Hanseul Kang is here to celebrate the school's achievement and growth on statewide assessments. But there's another reason for the gathering, and it's bringing a big surprise for one outstanding educator. Watch as Mike Milken, president and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, presents Principal Rachel Tommelleo with D.C.'s 2018-19 Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
