Surprise, Meghan Stubbs: You're a Maine Milken Educator!

ELLSWORTH, ME—There's an all-school assembly at Hancock County Technical Center, with Maine Education Commissioner Pender Makin making a special visit to commend HCTC's career and technical education (CTE) programs. It seems like an ordinary day until Commissioner Makin introduces Greg Gallagher, senior program director for the Milken Educator Awards, who names CTE teacher Meghan Stubbs Maine's 2023-24 Milken Educator Award recipient and presents her with a huge $25,000 check.
