ST. CHARLES, MO—Good morning, Hardin Middle School! Missouri Commissioner of Education Margie Vandeven is here for today's assembly to meet with students and teachers. But wait ... is there another reason? Watch as Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents seventh grade English language arts teacher Leah Lawrence with a Missouri Milken Award and $25,000. She is the first recipient from City of St. Charles School District. It's a life-changing surprise for this outstanding educator and a day the Hardin Tigers will never forget!
