At a star-studded assembly at Meadowlark Elementary, kindergarten teacher Jessica Kavitz made history as the recipient of the first ever $25,000 Milken Educator Award in Johnson County School District #1. Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Brian Schroeder joined us for Jessica's career-changing surprise. "I teach because the kids are the most important thing," Jessica says. "They deserve the best each and every day, and I have to work hard to be that for them."
