Angela Malone Is Maryland's 2015-16 Milken Educator

The students and staff at Oxon Hill Middle School have rolled out the red carpet for Dr. Jack R. Smith, Maryland's interim superintendent of schools, and Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford, who are visiting to recognize the school's oustanding STEM program. But then the visiting dignitaries introduce an unexpected guest: Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who surprises science department chair Angela Malone with Maryland's 2015-16 Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
