Godfrey Saunders (MT ’99) Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Retired Bozeman High School principal Godfrey Saunders received a Lifetime Achievement Award at his alma mater, University of Montana Western, during the school’s first-ever Education Hall of Fame ceremony. The honor was made even greater after Saunders admitted during the ceremony that he couldn’t even write a sentence in 1971when he first stepped onto the campus of what was then called Western Montana College.
