Glenn Lee (HI '11) Finalist for Global Teacher Prize

Glenn Lee (HI '11) was one of 10 finalists for the Global Teacher Prize and traveled to Dubai to participate in the award ceremony. The Varkey Foundation, based in London, created the prize four years ago to elevate teachers' role in society.
Glenn, a STEM teacher at Waialua High School who helped kick off Hawaii's robotics movement, was the only American to reach the top 10. The foundation received 30,000 entries.
