Dr. Cheryl Watkins (IL '08) Honored by UIC

The Department of Special Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Education has chosen Dr. Cheryl Watkins (IL '08) as an exemplar alumni. Watkins is being honored for her contributions of scholarly work, professional leadership and commitment to service that have resulted in positive impact on the lives of children and young adults. The College will recognize Watkins and three other honorees at a gala in early May 2017.
Watkins currently serves as the deputy chief of schools for Network 11 in Chicago Public Schools.
