Elementary school principal Marlin Lippert (PA '94), an educator who was "driven to find ways to accommodate the vastly differing instructional needs inherent in any group of students," died in his home on March 3, 2012. Before his retirement, Lippert developed a wide range of learning and social activities that involved parents and other family members in his school, Northside Elementary in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
