“I am thankful to have the opportunity to make a difference in my students’ lives.

“I am thankful to be a part of the Milken Family Foundation and to be inspired daily by fellow Milken Educators to be the best educator I can be. I am thankful for my MFF [Milken Friend Forever] Angie Besendorfer (MO '96) for encouraging me to go to graduate school. Before the Milken Family Foundation and my new Milken Educator came into my life, I never even thought about or considered graduate school. Now, I strive to be at least 10 percent bolder daily. I will graduate in May with my Masters in Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision and hope to start as an assistant principal very soon.
