Technology teacher Vince Long has developed a technology program at Billings Senior High School in Billings that guides students through problem solving and design processes, all the while preparing them to use technology found in a variety of career paths. Mr. Long has mentored students in several Independent Study projects, with topics ranging from robotics to audio recording. He has also placed students as interns in local companies and worked with local government agencies and businesses to secure donations of equipment to the school. Once a week, Mr. Long presents a feature on computer use on the local television station's morning news program, during which he frequently includes his students and their projects.
