NEW JERSEY—This season, three outstanding New Jersey educators received a Milken Educator Award and $25,000 in front of students, colleagues and distinguished guests. Fourth grade teacher Taylor Trost in Hightstown, high school math teacher Riley Gartland in Cinnaminson, and STEM and pre-med teacher Virginia Fasulo in Lodi: None of these educators had any idea they were about to get the surprise of a lifetime.
