NV Milken Award Is Music to Nicolas Jacques' Ears

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and Superintendent of Public Instruction Jhone Ebert are visiting Carson Middle School to celebrate Nevada Day, which marks the state's admission to the union in 1864. But there's a special guest waiting in the wings and a surprise on tap for one outstanding teacher. Watch as Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, names music teacher Nicolas Jacques the recipient of a 2019-20 Milken Educator Award as his students and colleagues cheer.
