Kindergarten teacher Melissa Salkeld thought she was heading into a routine school assembly, but instead she received the surprise of a lifetime: Maryland's Milken Educator Award and $25,000. Melissa won "the Oscars of Teaching" in front of students, colleagues and dignitaries at Prettyboy Elementary in Freeland. Here's a look at the assembly this educator will never forget.
