Lisa Richard Joins Oregon Milken Educators

Pioneer School's AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is the star of the morning's all-school assembly, with Oregon Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Salam Noor and Lebanon Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Rob Hess on hand to celebrate students and staff. But there's another reason to celebrate, which comes to light when Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents third-grade teacher Lisa Richard with Oregon's 2016-17 Award and a $25,000 check.
