Math department head Kevin Tobe has a reputation for pushing his students hard, and it shows in their stellar test scores and overall high achievement. But when Michigan Superintendent of Education Brian J. Whiston turns up at Haslett High School for a seemingly routine morning assembly, the topic of the day turns out to be Tobe's own achievements. Watch as Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprises Tobe with Michigan's 2015-16 Milken Educator Award and a check for $25,000.
