Esther Kwon's Milken Award Surprise in Hawaii

Daniel K. Inouye Elementary Assistant Principal Esther Kwon got the surprise of a lifetime when we presented her with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award. Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke and Superintendent of Education Keith Hayashi joined us for the educator's life-changing day. "I hope this recognition is for our entire school," the recipient told the assembly. "I'm really grateful to be here, learning and growing with you all."
