When Christopher Nunez arrived at Sonoma Elementary School, he had no idea he was about to win "the Oscars of Teaching" in front of excited students, proud colleagues, visiting dignitaries and TV cameras! A third-generation educator who calls teaching "the family business," Mr. Nunez was shocked and humbled when we surprised him with New Mexico's $25,000 Milken Educator Award.
