Something big is happening at Virginia Heights Elementary School: Virginia Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. James Lane is touring schools around the state, and today he's here for a festive assembly. But there's another reason for his visit, and it includes a big surprise for one outstanding educator. Watch as Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, names third-grade literacy educator Caroline Eschenbach Virginia's 2018-19 Milken Educator and presents her with $25,000, making it a day the teacher will remember forever.
