There's a festive assembly at Clyde-Savannah Elementary celebrating students' excellent attendance, featuring Alex Trikalinos, assistant commissioner for the New York State Department of Education's Office of Teacher and Leader Development. But then, a huge surprise for one outstanding educator! Watch as Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents special education teacher Caitlin Garvey with New York's 2022 Milken Award and $25,000, making this a day the Clyde community will remember forever.
