Principal Andrea Trio's WV Milken Award Surprise

As the principal of Madison Elementary, Andrea Trio had a leading role in setting up the festive assembly on November 3, 2022. She had absolutely no idea she was planning her own surprise party! Principal Trio was overwhelmed when we presented her with West Virginia's 2022 Milken Educator Award, with two very special veteran Milken Educators looking on: West Virginia Superintendent of Schools David Roach (WV '93) and Ohio County Schools Superintendent Dr. Kimberly Miller (WV '02). "You all sitting on the floor, you know how much I love you, right?," she said to the students who watched her Milken Award surprise. "I have to thank you for believing in me, because you are the reason I do what I do every day. When I promised to do my best as the principal of Madison Elementary School, I meant that with my whole heart."
