MISSION, SD—Todd County Middle School is welcoming South Dakota Secretary of Education Dr. Joseph Graves, U.S. Senator Mike Rounds and Rosebud Sioux Tribe President Scott Herman for a special assembly about literacy. But there's more! Watch as Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprises music and Lakota language teacher Albert Her Many Horses with a Milken Educator Award and a $25,000 prize. It's an assembly the Todd County community will never forget.
