Molly Yerkes Reacts to Her $25,000 Milken Educator Halloween Surprise

The Milken Educator Awards traveled 3,000 miles to Juneau, Alaska to present one outstanding educator with a $25,000 “thank you.” With some help from Commissioner of Education & Early Development Michael Hanley, Principal Molly Yerkes of Dzantik'i Heeni Middle School in Juneau, Alaska was surprised in front of a schoolwide assembly, media, local politicians, school officials and Milken Educators.
