Surprise, Riley Gartland! You're a NJ Milken Educator!

Special guests are visiting Cinnaminson High School today: New Jersey Department of Education Chief of Staff Dr. Julie Bunt and Cinnaminson Township Public Schools Superintendent Stephen M. Cappello. But there's one more special guest at the all-school assembly—and she's brought a big surprise for one Cinnaminson teacher! Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprises math teacher Riley Gartland with a New Jersey 2023-24 Milken Educator Award and a huge check for $25,000, turning an ordinary day into one she will remember for the rest of her life. After today's exciting celebration, Gartland is the 2,933rd Milken Educator recognized on the journey to our 3,000th Milken Award announcement.
