Surprise, Riley Gartland! You're a NJ Milken Educator!

 

Returning to her classroom, math teacher Riley Gartland finds congratulatory messages from students waiting for her on the whiteboard. "Congratulations, we love you!" one student writes. She is known for creating a safe space for students to learn and grow. A trusted role model outside her classes, Gartland’s classroom is often full of students at lunch.
