NC Has a New Milken Educator: Meghan LeFevers

Good morning, Bessemer City High School! North Carolina Superintendent of Public Instruction Mark Johnson and other dignitaries from around the state are visiting today, although no one knows the real reason for the all-school assembly. The picture begins to come into focus when Johnson introduces Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who tells the crowd she has come to honor one of the country's most outstanding educators. Follow the excitement as Foley names Assistant Principal Meghan LeFevers North Carolina's 2017-18 Milken Educator—this is one day LeFevers will remember for the rest of her life.
