And the NY Milken Educator Award Goes to...Lauren Jensen!

 

 

Milken Educator Award recipient Lauren Jensen gets a congratulatory hug from one of her students. Jensen is known as a tough but dedicated teacher who makes herself available to students whenever they need her. "It's pretty amazing that I received this award considering the amount of work that I give them and the challenge that I pose for them on a daily basis," she tells one reporter jokingly after the assembly.
