Lauren Waguespack (LA '23) | Harry Hurst Middle School | Destrehan, LA | Feb 07, 2024Through recent years, Harry Hurst Middle School has continued to make strides in student achievement. Today, the school has another accolade to celebrate! At an all-school assembly, Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken, joined by Louisiana Superintendent of Education Dr. Cade Brumley, surprised sixth grade science teacher Lauren Waguespack with a Louisiana Milken Educator Award and a $25,000 cash prize.
