The Washington, D.C., 2023-24 Milken Educator Is: Kelly Maranchuck!

 

 

With D.C. Superintendent of Education Dr. Christina Grant and Milken Family Foundation President and Co-Founder Mike Milken standing by proudly, Alexander Rose-Henig, BASIS Washington D.C. head of school, shares a personal message of congratulations with Milken Educator Award recipient Kelly Maranchuck.

"Ms. Maranchuck is an absolutely fabulous teacher with a lot of love in her heart and a lot of grammar in her head that she has imparted on all of you guys, while showing off the wonderful world of literature and exploration and curiosity," Rose-Henig says to students. "She has worked hard this last year and a half, providing feedback to your other teachers to help them grow and help make the BASIS D.C. community what it is."
