Angela Boxie (LA '17) | Edgar Martin Middle School | Lafayette, LA | Dec 07, 2017Lafayette Parish's students are math stars, and dignitaries from around Louisiana have gathered at Edgar Martin Middle School to celebrate their success. Then, an unexpected turn of events: Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, surprises math teacher Angela Boxie with a 2017-18 Louisiana Milken Educator Award, changing the teacher's career forever.
