Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, gives students a hint about what today's recipient will take home. Amistad senior Veronica helps explain the fourth piece of the surprise: a financial prize. What does that mean? "Something monetary," she says. Students' ears perk up at the news that the Milken Educator Award comes with a cash prize the recipient can use however he or she chooses.
