Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, congratulates recipient Alexis Arias. "This is not a lifetime achievement award," he says. "This award is to unleash lifetime achievement. We believe that you have the potential to accomplish even greater things in the future. So, I want to say on behalf of all the students and all of our dignitaries and this entire school district, congratulations and thank you for making education your chosen profession."
