That surprise guest is Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, who explains that while our country is quick to recognize actors, musicians and athletes, the educators who taught them don't often receive the same appreciation: "That never made sense to me," he tells the students. Next, he reveals that an educator at Amistad is about to get an important award.
