Ashley Wilkins (WV '23) Placed on ILA's 30 Under 30 List

Ashley Wilkins (WV '23), eighth grade ELA teacher at Petersburg High School, has been placed on International Literacy Association’s 2025 30 Under 30 list for her work as an outstanding educator. According to the ILA 30 Under 30 list, Wilkins facilitates Socratic seminars, encouraging students to have respectful discussions on literature. She also urges students to set personal goals. "By having students set their own goals, the effort put forth into accomplishing them is measurable," she tells ILA.
