William Twyman (KY '93) Named Chairman of Kentucky Board of Education

William Twyman (KY '93), a former teacher and administrator with Glasgow Independent Schools in Barren County, Kentucky, has been elected chairman of the Kentucky State Board of Education.
Twyman was appointed to the board by former Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear several years ago. His four-year term on the Board ends in April 2018. He is the first Milken Educator to chair a state board of education and received his Award as the principal of Glasgow Middle School.
