Wade Whitehead (VA ’00) Leads 12th Annual Teachers of Promise Institute

Milken Educator Wade Whitehead (VA ’00), president and founder of the Virginia Teachers of Promise Foundation, organized the 12th annual Teachers of Promise Institute, which recognized almost 100 prospective teachers from 19 college and university schools of education. The event took place in March 2015 and to date, Teachers of Promise has celebrated more than 2,000 of America's best future classroom educators through a two-day conference and gala celebration.
