Silvia Miranda (NM '18) Tapped as NM Education Ambassador

Silvia Miranda (NM '18), reading specialist at Mesa and James Bickley Elementary Schools in Clovis, has been selected as a State Ambassador in the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) Teacher Leader Network.
According to the NMPED website, "The State Ambassadors are a cohort of experienced Level II or III classroom teachers representing all grade levels, subject areas, and linguistic backgrounds. Participants are solutions-oriented teachers who want to further the progress of the profession by learning about state policy, advocating for teacher growth opportunities and supporting the teacher pipeline of highly-qualified professionals."
