Sherri Becker Named SD Curriculum Director of the Year

Sherri Becker (SD '03), the curriculum director for the Mitchell School District in Mitchell, South Dakota, has been named the state's 2016-17 Curriculum Director of the Year. She was nominated by Dr. Joseph Graves, Mitchell's district superintendent, for her expertise in curriculum review, instructional technology and assessment data analysis. Becker, who previously taught English and Spanish and served as Mitchell's technology integrationist, is beginning her fourth year as the district's curriculum director.
