Shane Baker (KY '23) Placed on ILA's 30 Under 30 List

Shane Baker (KY '23), third and fourth grade teacher at Jennings Creek Elementary in Bowling Green, KY, has been placed on the International Literacy Association’s (ILA) 2025 30 Under 30 list. This global cohort features people from 12 countries, all under 30, who are driving innovations and advocating for accessible, inclusive learning experiences, according to the ILA release. Baker is recognized for his outstanding teaching that "integrates high-level digital tools such as green screens and coding into project-based learning, fostering critical thinking and creativity among his students," according to the release.
