Raisa Eady (AL '19), a science teacher at Pinson Valley High School in Pinson, Alabama, has been named the 2020 Teacher of the Year by the Alabama Alliance of Black School Educators. "This is the first award is honoring the amazing Dr. Tonya Perry," said Raisa on Twitter. "This has been a tough year for educators and I ask God to continue to give me the strength to walk in my purpose!"
