Jamilla Rice (PA '09) recently received a $10,000 Heinz Endowment grant to complete a digital anthropological storytelling project where students will use photography and oral narrative to connect themes present in Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God with students' families and communities, using the iPod touch.
