Jaime Brown (CA '09) a CA Teacher of the Year

Jaime (Enochs) Brown, an English and film instructor at San Diego High School, has been named one of five California Teachers of the Year. California Department of Education Superintendent Tom Torlakson and a state committee choose the five teachers based on the teachers’ rapport with students, classroom environment, presentation skills and teaching techniques. Brown and her fellow honorees will be feted at a gala in Sacramento early next year.
Brown, who teaches in an International Baccalaureate program, received her Milken Award in 2009 as Jaime Enochs.
