Dr. Cindy Moss (NC ‘01) Honored for Leadership in STEM

Insight Into Diversity magazine has honored Milken Educator and Discovery Education's Dr. Cindy Moss (NC ’01) with its Inspiring Women in STEM Award for 2015. Dr. Moss is recognized in particular for her work inspiring and encouraging the next generation of women to consider careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
In July 2012, the science educator received a similar recognition when she was named one of the 100 Women Leaders in STEM by resource center STEMConnector. The publication "recognizes women role models in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)," according to a press release.
